Enjoy a 3-hour walking excursion to interesting places in the surrounding wilderness areas. The walk itself is relaxed and the experienced, armed rangers use their knowledge of the bush to track animals such as rhino, elephant and lion and will explain to you the natural wonders and fascinating facts about the African bush. Comfortable walking shoes or boots and clothing applicable to the prevailing weather conditions are recommended. Please supply your own cameras and/or binoculars. A minimum of 4 pax is required. A day tour which combines chimps and caving. Depart from your hotel at around 08h00 and drive to the Jane Goodall Institute Chimpanzee Eden situated about 15kms outside Nelspruit. We arrive in time to join the tour which includes the feeding of the chimpanzees at 10h00. This is a unique opportunity to view chimpanzees in semi-wild surroundings. Visitors will be captivated by these primates who share 97% of mans’ DNA. With every visitor we take to the Sanctuary, we contribute to the rescue of another chimpanzee. Be inspired, enlightened, educated and enthused by this memorable and respectful opportunity to meet and learn more about some of the Jabulani herd elephants and their passionate carers. Arrive at sunrise to meet a few members of an extraordinary family, the Jabulani Herd. Delve deeper into the biology and physiology of these gentle giants while learning about each elephant's unique personalities and remarkable stories. The respectful 90-minute experience takes place at the Jabulani elephant stables, which borders the HERD elephant orphanage. The Orphanage does not allow the public to visit their premises or to view the orphans, to keep their stress levels to a minimum. The Jabulani Herd elephants that you will meet represent the rest of the herd which they join a little later to continue foraging during their days in the Kapama Private Reserve. There will be between two to three elephants introduced who remain behind a low partition creating a respectful distance between the elephants and the visitors. Visitors will have an opportunity to provide some elephant snacks to each elephant, as well as a chance to take a snapshot memory of the memorable experience, with the guidance of the carers. Complimentary coffee and tea with biscuits will be provided upon arrival and available to enjoy until the end of the experience. This tour also begins with a bright and early 5am rising for us to benefit and find the wide variety of mammals as well as the Big Five in Kruger. First and foremost we have a relaxing brunch at one of Kruger's picnic sights once we have eaten our fill we will head on out, to a a camp in Kruger, spotting animals as we go, for a bit of rest and relaxation in your comfy bungalow. Awakening refreshed we go on a 3 hour game drive with one of the experienced game rangers of Kruger and return to enjoy the ambiance of a typical South African braai under our awesome African sky. Awakening with the animals on day two of our tour we discover the areas of the park we have as yet not covered. Returning to camp in the afternoon for a bit of rest and relaxation or alternatively relaxing on the deck viewing the animals coming down to the river for a drink, as you leisurely prepare your postcards to send back home. Completing a perfect day in the bush with another drive before falling into your comfy bed for a restful night's sleep after a truly glorious day under African skies. Day three we once again awaken with the call of the animals as they also begin another day. We make our way out of the park, seeking out the various animals not yet spotted with a three hour game drive to Kruger gate. As we leave with perfect memories of the bush and animals we make our way up into the Small Drakensberg mountain range, where the stunning sights of God's Window, Lisbon Falls, Bourkes Luck Potholes which is the world's thirds largest and only growing canyon, the Blyde Canyon await us. Once we have taken the perfect set of photo's to place in our Brag Book when we return home, we complete a perfect day with a perfect pancake from Harries Pancakes, renowned for their delicious selection of pancakes.

Clients are picked up from their lodge/hotel in and around Hazyview or Hoedspruit at 7H30 am and drive to our first stop at Moholoholo Animal Rehabilitation where one of their dedicated team of guides will take your around the centre to meet some wildlife residents which are used as ambassadors for their species and Learn about rehabilitation techniques and treatment of injured and poisoned animals and birds. At around lunchtime, we depart Moholoholo to head for Hoedspruit Endangered Species Centre. After a delicious lunch (own account) at HESC we embark on a 2-hour educational tour that provides a unique experience to get up close up and personal with the rare sightings of the endangered wild dog, cheetah, African wild cat, Ground hornbill, Sable antelope, to name just a few. A visit to the Centre is “an experience of a lifetime” and will leave you with lasting memories. After this tour, we heard back to be at the hotel around 17H00.

At the base of the striking Klein Drakensberg is Hoedspruit, home to this exciting 1 hour microlight flight experience. This one-hour microlight flight travels over Big Five game reserves and gives you a view of the magnificent Limpopo landscape in an area favoured for its superb weather all year round. So board the microlight flight and enjoy the jam-packed hour trip. The braver microlight flight travelers can even get some hands-on experience. With a bird’s-eye view of the plains and wild animals that inhabit it, this microlight flight is an unrivaled wildlife experience. It normally includes flying over the Big Five game farms in the area towards the Olifants River and following the Olifants River for a short while before returning for further game viewing over Big 5 game reserves in the area. Good chances of seeing 3 of the Big 5 but the illusive leopard and lion are difficult to find. Game to see could include buffalo, lion (occasionally), elephant, rhino, hippo and plains game such as wildebeest, giraffe, warthogs, zebra and impala. You have the option to sit and experience the flight and view the game or you can have hands on experience from the first flight should you so wish. The choice is yours.
